about our cakes
We think cake is magnificent. And we want our cakes to taste as good as they look! We make all of our cakes from scratch and use real butter, because is there anything better than butter? No, there isn't. We think the texture and flavor of our cake is best served at room temperature, so if you are planning to dig in within the next few hours, there is no need to refrigerate the cake!
about our frosting
We use Swiss Meringue Buttercream, which has a lighter and smoother taste and feel than the typical American Buttercream made with powdered sugar. It is very buttery and slightly less sweet, but balances our cakes beautifully! If you would prefer American Buttercream (which is especially enjoyed by kids!) we do offer this on cupcakes- just let us know! We do not use fondant, but can usually achieve a similar look with buttercream.
